Toronto, Ontario – September 15th, 2009
This October KWizCom will unveil components that are already compatible with Microsoft’s new SharePoint 2010. The official launch of the new components will take place at Microsoft’s SharePoint Conference in Las Vegas.
Developers of innovative add-ons for Microsoft SharePoint (as well as Microsoft Project Server and Dynamics CRM), KWizCom strides alongside Microsoft creating components that add usability, flexibility, and enhanced capabilities to the giant’s enterprise management programs.
The first component to be unveiled is one of KWizCom’s most innovative: “SharePoint List Extensions Feature”. The feature bridges the gap between SharePoint lists (New/Edit/View forms) and standard form features, extending the current SharePoint form features with the missing features of the classical web form. The feature enables users to attain field level security by defining permissions, defining dynamic, field-based rules for hiding/disabling form fields etc.
“We are excited by the innovations that we are developing,” says Nimrod Geva, KWizCom’s Product Group Manager. “Customers have expressed concern about the transition to SharePoint 2010. They are worried that with the upgrade they will have to recreate the customizations they added to SharePoint to give their business the capabilities they need. They want the new SharePoint but they do not want to lose their customizations. But there are no worries – customers can have both. The power of SharePoint AND the customizations, advanced capabilities and flexibility they have come to rely on.”
KWizCom is making the upgrade to SharePoint 2010 as easy as possible for their customers. Everyone who has joined KWizCom’s annual support plan receives free upgrades of newly released KWizCom components. Now KWizCom’s new releases will be compatible with SharePoint 2010 – users will simply transition to the new SharePoint with new components and best of all, for the users, this is at no extra cost.
