KWizCom SharePoint Quick Launch web part displays a drop-down list of links and applications, enabling users to launch a required application or web url.

This web part is very much similar to the built-in "Links" web part, but it enables to define all type of links, including links to non-web, windows-based applications.

The web part user's interface is as shown hereunder:

When the user clicks an application link - the application is launched.

The SharePoint Quick Launch web part is based on a Quick Launch list, that can be used as an organization-wide repository of application links.
